John deere 30 combine

I have been using a jd 30 combine for oats rye and buckwheat. It works good but I want to do about 10 aceres of soybeans and was wondering if I need to adjust anything.

Your concave will need to be opened up and your cyclinder speed will need to be cut in about half. Your operators manual should have the settings. Tom

As Tom says. Plus,order an owners manual. It will tell you about all these things,plus a lot more. Like opening sieves,what to do to reduce grain loss,or cracked grain. You have 'spent' enough money over the years due to improper setting to have pd for several manuals.
