Restoring horse drawn plow

In the near future I hope to restore a horse drawn plow. One of the parts has "Vulcan Plow" imprinted on it. From my research this was an Evansville, Indiana company and the plow appears to be their #10 side hill plow. I would describe it as a two way or reversible. Where can one:
1. Find a few replacement parts. 2. A correct color scheme and at least close colors. 3. The correct wording and letter font and size for the lettering on the wooden handles.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated. When completed I hope to hang it from the rafters in the shed from the opposite corner where the horse drawn planter of similar vintage will call home for the rest of my life. That planter is a McCormick but I will be color or brand blind for now.

There are several draft horse groups on Facebook you could try for info. Farmer Browns Plow Shop (do an internet search) can also help as can outfits like Farm Collector magazine.

I've got two of those Vulcan hillsides along with a Chattanooga and Syracuse hillside. I can't help you with the color, but I would imagine that if you painted it black nobody would correct you. I don't paint any of mine. I've bought one or two that were, but I would have preferred it if they'd been left alone.

Slightly OT: For many years there was a guy in the nearest town of 850 that did garden plots for folks with you guessed it. Watching him and his mule was like a ballet. Who knows how many 100's of times that scene played out for them.
