IH plow - ID? Year?

Just got a ?new?plow - Genius?

If not - any ideas? If so, can anyone tell anything about age?

It wants to plow. Everything seems operational but would like to find manual to go over it before using.

Number 8 little genius made from 1928-1960.available in 12-14-16 inch widths,hydraulic lift became an option later on.Most made in two and three bottom models,later models had rubber tires.We had several number 8's when I was growing up,learned how to plow with one but after high school dad bought a number 60 with hydraulic lift as we could no longer get shares redone as welding shop got rid of their forge as demand dropped.Scott

Thanks. Any way to narrow down year of plow. Probably not if they stayed basically the same.

How much do they run? Is it a reproduction and if so is it clear? Have gotten some with cutoff pages etc. thanks.

Hitch plates date it to before 1948. I don’t see any special early parts so 1930 and later. I don’t have my parts book in front of me but the length of the levers is not adjustable and that would place it in the 1930’s.
