Krone disc mower slip clutch

I have a Krone 323r disc mower. it has 4 bolts sticking out of the slip clutch. what are these for? my book does not show anything or explain any types of adjustments.
thanks

Those bolts are designed that when turned far enough the pressure on spring washers is released so when pto is engaged allows slip clutch plates to have no pressure so plates can slip. After being sure clutch plates aren't stuck return bolts to previous setting.

From the manual for my Krone disc mower conditioner:

"Venting the friction clutch
Tighten the four nuts (1). Block the machine and move the friction clutch manually to the point
where it slips through. Loosen the nuts again."

I tighten mine until the clutch slips, noting how many turns and back off the same when done.

With model number, you should be able to go to Krone's website and download a free manual.

Hope this helps.

If it is the Walterscheid clutch, the 4 bolts compress the belleville washers to loosen the clutch for disassembly. The clutch tension is set by the number and size of belleville washers. The correct torque is obtained when the bolts are loose. Torque is only adjustable by changing the belleville washers, do not use the bolts to attempt to set torque.
