314 IH plow convert

Mr delta red if you get a chance could you please post how to convert this to a two bottom again thanks

Remove all the bottoms. Take the first bottom and put in the first set of holes. then drill/torch cut the two remaining hohes in the main frame. do the second bottom the same way. the two bottoms will be somewhat centered on the main frame. Call me if you want. 9704171178 Steve

Another method,altho somewhat harder but more 'accuret' is to place the bottoms equal distance from the pivot. Takeing a protractor a tape measure,and square,mark out a ew set of holes on the frame. Center punch,and drill 5/8 holes for the bottoms.I have done both ways.Both ways work equally well.If needed later,the plow can be later 'converted' back to 3 bottom,with only the new holes remaining.

How bad would it be to Just take the hind bottom off ?

You can,but it wont pull right. It will tend to pull the tractor into the furrow.
