I recently acquired one of these that is in the 3pt hitch version. Somewhere in the forum someone else had pics of one that had some sort of quick hitch. The one I have has a bearing down in the shaft that the pitman arm flywheel is on. I have stripped it down and cannot find what holds the shaft in. The flywheel is part of the shaft and the other end is in a roller bearing that has a four bolt cap over it. No snap ring on that end. I have pulled the oil filler plug and drain plug thinking they might fit in a recess in the shaft but no. There seems to be all manner of garden varieties of this mower from trailer to 3pt hitch. Someone surely has pulled that shaft.
