Ford snow blade on TO20

Blase-On

New User
Hello
New to the forum and new to working on tractors. I've been looking to set up a snow blade (front mount) on my father's 1949 Ferguson TO-20. I found a ford that looks similar to the ones that work with the fergusons. Any idea if this one will mount up and work on the TO-20 based on the pics. I have no other information for other than I was told it was for Ford 600, 800, and others.

You do not have the mounting spots on your tractor for it. Or any 2N, 9N, 8N or to 30

The frame is a Dearborn 19-80, the cable model is 19-92 and the blade model is 19-3. It also had an option for hydraulics 19-91.
See my video link for the dearborn 19-1 which will fit your tractor without any alterations.
All that said the plow frame is made for the ford NAA up thru the early thousand series tractor. You could probably make it work. I mounted one on an 8n. It require drilling a couple of
holes in the front of the frame to secure with longer bolts to the axle carrier and making a bracket out of angle iron with long bolts to secure the rear of the frame to the back of the
engine at the bellhousing. Since the rear bracket for the cable is missing you will need to make something for that also. I made one out of angle iron and a drawbar and use it for a couple
of years until I found the correct bracket.
If you are not willing to do the work on it than pass on it. The price is good and if I were closer it would have been gone by now. If you have more questions ask here or my email is open.
Below are some photos of the 8n and the brackets. The blade mounted on the 8n is the 19-2 dozer blade

Dearborn 19 1

Mounted a Meyer plow that originally was on a pickup truck. Used angle iron and U-bolts to mount brackets under the tractor.
Live hydraulic on rear of tractor via hose to one-way cylinder. Works OK. Not perfect. Moved a bunch of snow today. Tractor is Allis Chalmers 5040.
