John Deere corn binder

I have a john Deere ground driven corn binder. I need the wooden Pittman arm for the sickle. Would anyone have the measurement or have one for sale

IF you don't find one, they should be fairly easy to make. Just move the flywheel all the way back so that the point where the pitman irons attached to the flywheel are at the 3 00 point. Then take the sickle and move it so that the section is back towards the flywheel just enough and then measure the distance between the hook up parts at the sickle end and the mounting parts at the flywheel end. Then move the flywheel to the 9 00 position and move the section away from the pulley wheel the same distance as you measured. IF the section goes all the way across the opening, you've got it measured right. IF not just make the necessary adjustments to where at the 3 and 9 positions the section is all the way over and out of the cutting slot left and right. Good luck.

John Deere still has the pitman availbile for my no.8 mower and cheaper than the aftermarket one to boot do you have a part number or model for the binder ?
