Tomkins Post Knocker

Hi,

Could someone please tell me what is worth roughly? It was last functioning well 10 years ago. We used it with the pto on a Fergie.

Thanks

Hi Nigel, everybody ties a post kocker to a post when you are not using them.
Where in the UK are you located, I am on the Notts and Lincs boarder. MJ

Have never seen 1 like that sell. They usually bring between $150.00 to $650.00 American for the heavier
duty ones.

Hi,

I'm down in Wiltshire.

Could someone please tell me what this is exactly. Is it just a PTO shaft? Is this something that should be supplied with the post knocker if sold or is it a universal thing that can be used with different machinery?

Yes, just the front shaft for the pto and should go with the machine. You need to clean it up. (Wire brush) to be sure it will slide easily on the other shaft and grease the ujoints

(quoted from post at 14:14:46 01/14/18) Also any ideas what the cost of the PTO shaft is? It fits to a Fergie. Thanks

I'm guessing this has long since been sold but if not I'm on the lookout for a knocker just like this and am on the Dorset / Wiltshire border.

Cheers, Rob
