Hello I have yet another question for all you smarter than I. My MF 101/102 loader is a front pump, but I have no driveshaft for it. What do I need to get it going? I measured from the end of the pulley to the end of the tractor, it's measures 14 1/4". I'm pretty sure from looking at it I'll need a longer shaft than that. Just looking at it I can't tell if the pulley is threaded or splined. The shaft on the pump is keyed. Plus the pump won't bolt up so I'll have to make some sort of bracket for it. Any help would be awesome, I have a ton of money wrapped up in this loader so I can't just give up and look for another. One way or another I will make it work. Oh yes I'm putting it on a MF 65 loader approx. year of tractor is 1959-60

They probably sell the hub and shaft here, we always went to the dealer. Like I said before, the shaft they have may not be long enough. In that case you can either have a machine shop make you one, or have them weld another shaft to yours to make it longer. If it's threaded, you're much better off having one made to fit. If it's splined, you may be stuck having it lengthened.

you probably have to buy the drive hub and shaft to fit in there. The hub bolts to the pulley, and is either splined or threads. the last time we bought a new hub, it was threaded. The shaft wasn't available long enough, so I made one myself that was the proper length for our 165. You need coupler sprockets and coupler chain on the pump end. Most common is a #40 x 12 tooth sprocket.

What's the perpose of the chain and sprocket on the pump? I thought it was a direct drive, crank pulley to hyd. pump. I don't know I'm learning as I go.

It's a type of flexible coupler.
