Well heated every single one and then dumping oil on them, but only got one to move(the closest to the drive wheel). So I'm going to let it soak in oil for the rest of the day try again tomorrow.

Took several weeks of oiling and wrenching to free drill up in my case. You'd get a little movement here or there.

Be patient, it's hard, but worth it when you hear the final creak and groan when the thing starts to turn again.

Douse it good with oil(ATF seems to work good).Use lots if needed-one or two quarts. Just 'work' it back and forth...Tap side to side with a hammer. If it moves at all it will come free.Just keep 'playing' with it.Dont get in a hurry and break something. It will just take time.....Good Luck!

I have heated them with a welding torch and with a wrench on the shaft to break each feed roll loose. Liquid don't work on heavy rust.

Ya, that sounds like a plan. The only thing I was worried about breaking the cast but its worth a shot. Here's a picture of the half I'm using.

Don't get too rough on it, just keep trying to move the shaft back and forth while heating - then move on to the next cup, and on to the next, etc. After you get them all free, then apply whatever liquid you want and run the drill empty to get some polish. After you are done seeding, vacuum each cup clean and then use heavy oil to keep the rolls free until the next time you need to use the drill.

OK I got a the shaft to go back and forth with the ajuster. but still won't turn. So I dumped about a quart of used oil on it and moved it back and forth. If that doesn't work I'll use heat.

If you use heat, apply candle wax as it cools....flows between the parts.

I unstuck an IH 10 drill that had been sitting outside for a few years. Soaked penetrating oil on the flutes and also on the support hangers where the shafts rotate. Soaked it several times over the course of a couple weeks, then put a pipe wrench on the shaft and tapped the end of the pipe wrench. All of the shafts broke loose and rotated without too much trouble.

Did this as well with a 510 that was stuck.
