My mo/co lost the bearing on the stub shaft from the gearbox, the one that holds the drive sheave. Do I need to get into the gearbox to remove it if the shaft is worn like I believe it is or can I just pull the shaft out? Any help is appreciated.

Sorry about that. It is a Hesston PT-7, 1970 year. Got in a hurry and didn't double check.
