Got an interesting conversation going with a couple of you guys and I need some help from a few more. I bought a JD side dresser set up that mounts to my 2 row cultivator on my JD B. the ol' guy I bought it from has used it since the 50's. He gave me all the pieces and said he was missing one of the disc openers. (I attached pics of the openers). I was trying to find a matching opener and few of you old iron friends are saying they cannot find where this side dresser ever came with discs, only shoes. Can someone help me out? If they don't belong with this then maybe help identify what the disc openers ARE for? Looks like I got a RH and LH. it's a single disc and the buthered up one on the right is differant. Any help would be welcome! I really want a complete and proper set up for this side dresser!
