Unless you know what you are doing, you will break the CAST HUB. It is on a TAPPER SHAFT, *TIGHT* can be knocked off if you know how or save your self some heart ache and change the tire with the rim still mounted, not that big a deal.

Hello, I need a little more help. I am reinstalling the wheel/lift. I cleaned up the parts but can't get the lift gear on the axle far enough (after installing 3 axel washers) to insert the pin. I assume the notches on the lift gear/cam face toward the plow, correct? I appreciate your help as I am a rookie with this repair. Thanks. Mark M Minnesota
