kuhn gmd 700 cutter bar bearing at gear box

replacing the gearbox and wanted to replace the bearing in the bar around the female shaft but cant seem to get it loose off the shaft,

I'm not familiar with that particular bearing... but most Kuhn bars have their bearings pressed in. Takes about 15 ton to move them.
The 700 should have modular bearing flanges. Unbolt the one you're dealing with and press the shaft out, then press the bearing out. Also note that they LOVED using internal wire snap rings without eyes on them so they can be interesting to dig out sometimes. Just inspect closely before you press...
On the other hand... if this bar is the same as the old bolt together GMD bar... you're out of luck. Those bars need to be completly disassembled to repair.
