Iron age potato planter Bateman manufacturing

Old potato planter. Was horse drawn - has been converted to
pull behind tractor.

Would like any available information about age and worth.
Open to selling.

Located in north central Ohio

Type on font of planter reads:
Iron age improved Robbins
Potato planter
Bateman manufacturing in Grenloch NJ

I have one about like that, i was told mine was made in the early 30's, this one looks to be in the same time period. I've not seen potato planters sell very high, not alot of demand for them anymore, as far as worth, i would guess 200-300?
 
I don't have a lot of information for you,but Oliver bought Iron Age at some point. An Oliver collector might have some interest in it. I know I would if the price and distance was favorable.
 
I have one of these things too.

fertilizer hopper id gone and the bottom rusted out other than that it works. Tested it using golf balls :) was horse now tractor. Not selling it.

Are there pictures of this unit anywhere. It's on the restore list.
 
Iron Age transferred from Bateman in Grenloch NJ to AB Farquhar in York, PA around 1930. Oliver bought Farquhar in 1952.
