Ford 309 planter - sweet corn plates

im looking for the correct size plates for Ambrosia sweet corn, and where i may buy them.
dealer suggested part # 108954A2 20cells 34x12x20
really costly at the dealer

Try a seed supplier, like Rupp. THey will likely sell you the plate, at a lower price, if you buy some seed.

Since the older Ford planters like the 309 use plates unique to them, I doubt the seed dealer would have them. The newer Ford planters like the 352 use JD-style B-series plates, which they would have.
