Cultipacker fix

I got this 8 footer today. The wheels are loose, are there some bearings missing or something? Anybody sell them?

If the gap is less than the width of a packer
wheel,you're missing a short spacer and a heavy
washer.

I can't view the picture but on mine I measured & cut a piece of pipe to slide over the axle as a spacer to take up the slack.

My old packer had cast split clamps to hold the wheels together.

I noticed that teh two outside wheels are split, maybe they are to act as the clamps. Looks like the packer wheels rotate on the shaft with no lubrication?

Those old things with the 2 inch axles generally just had a stack of washers in there. The 4 inch axles used a big clamp.
