EZEE FLOW SPREADER QUESTION

I have an 88A spreader (bought for 100 bucks). Everything turns, just need some new tires. How do you get these things off. I noticed there was a pin that goes through the axle, do you just hammer away with a punch? Any insite would be helpful here. Plus any other pointers.

Have a MF version, seems to me the rim comes off with the lug bolts and just pivots up and over the drive pin assembly.

Is it the spinner type or 10 or 12' wide drop type. On the John Deere built like the later you have to drive out a pin and take the drive clutch of and then you can pull the hub and then take the lug bolts out after it is completely apart. But that is a ground drive type, have to get the tires mounted for on one of the JD units. Actually a lot more info needed to do good in helping you.

It is a drop spreader. 88A is the model number. The agitator is engage on each side of the hub assembly. One on each side. There's a pin that hold the wheel and locking agitator mechanism on.

Pictures can be found here, for some reason I can't upload photos
