I got this with a tractor I just bought. I'm thinking it's a Ferguson, but which model? There is a place where the tag was riveted to the frame but it's gone (2nd photo). Thanks in advance! I want to sell this, but would like to know what it is before I advertise it.

Jim, in your neck of the woods it would be refered to as a alfalfa renovator.

You were right the first time. I read the parts manual more carefully and figured out that the first digit in the implement model number does NOT refer to the width in feet. It refers to the number of tines. My tiller has 9 tines, and is therefore a 9-BO-20 just as you said.

Thanks for the hint. I looked on another site using the information you provided. I found a parts manual online for a Ferguson BO-20 Field Cultivator. In looking at that manual I learned that this implement came in two versions: 9-BO-20 and 7-BO-20. I'm assuming the first digit refers to the width of the cultivator. Since this one just barely fits on my trailer, I'm assuming it's a 7 footer, therefore a 7-BO-20.

Thanks! Now's your chance to own one. How far away are you from northern Utah?

Thanks, but west Ky is a bit to long of a drive for a little tiller tool,

i have seen them around for $400+, so for sure do not give it away,

Since i could not find one to buy, I made this one out of an old AC snap couple rear Cultivator
got it for free

Diy,

In a way i did save the old AC cultivator,

it was just about to go into the scrapyard crusher, my friend who runs the scarp yard, pulled it out and saved it for me.
Gave it to me for some work i did for him.

It must have been a fine tool as it had either 9 or 11 shovels, my little TO-35 can pull it, but i had to take off the two outside shovels and the two depth gauge wheels.

You do not want to go to the scrap yard, it would make a strong man cry, to see the old tools that are scrapped each day,
