Hello all. Bought this tractor, and it came with this dozer blade set up on it. Can anyone tell me if they have seen one of these before? Or is it just a farm shop made thing. The tractor is an Earthmaster, but Earthmaster's original dozer impliment did not look/mount like this. Here is a link to a you tube video showing the set up.

Pretty interesting piece regardless. I'd sure save it with the tractor.

I sure wish that you would have stepped back to show the Earthmaster as well. I haven't a clue what they look like.

Without knowing era of the tractor I would say that the flat blade is a giveaway that the unit is a homemade one as a purchased one would probably have a concave blade.

Homemade is my take and just a feeble opinion.

Just wanted to let you know I posted more video showing you the Earthmaster so you can see it. The video is in 2 parts, here is the link in Part 1, you can find Part 2 from there.

Hope you enjoy.

Thanks.

Good point about the flat blade, but it is possible the frame is original, and the blade newer, or the whole thing is a mock up. Thanks for your input.

As far as manufacturer of the blade I have no idea. The center tube with the 2 flat metal pieces welded to it was to strengthen the tube to help keep it from flexing by adding the plate to each side of the tube.

Thanks Jim, that makes sense. If it was home made, the maker did a nice job on the welds. Good beads. I"ve never welded, but I know a bad welding job when I see one (lol).
