Hello,
Here are a few pics of my disk I pulled from the weeds and got to working good. Repacked all the bearings and got grease to go to evreything. I just need help ID'ing it and help on how to set it up properly. Right now it leaves two furrows on each end as I disk. Thank you.

may be a optical illusion but it appears to me you need to set the back gangs towards center, the width of one disc spacing on each side.the back gangs should run on top the ridges left by front ones, and the outermost rear discs should pull back the dirt thrown out by the front.I have to admit though i dont understand the use for the chisel point added in the center of the rear gang.it appears to have been added for some reason. it could be someone set that disc up to leave a ridge in centerfor planting watermellons or something, and thats their row marker??they would come back maybe and double disc throwing up another ridge half the width or so of the disc apart?i dont know about that but it sure looks like you need to set the back gangs in some.

another thing that will help,it appears your hitched too low.look and see if you can turn the part over on the hitch where the clevis ties on .if that disc is setting on the ground in your pictures, when tractor is moving you will be pulling UP on front discs making back gangs cut deeper.it needs to be level front to back, and side to side to make all gangs cut evenly.that means your hitch needs to be pulling level with the drawbar when your using it.its called hitch height and thats what all those holes in front are for.

Looks like a S or SA Case wheel disc. I would get a hose tender installed to get those Hyd.Hoses up in the air and centered over the disc hitch. Very easy to get one hung up on a rear tractor tire the way they are hanging free.

The outside rear blades are gonna leave a furrow on any tandem disk; it's the nature of the beast. The plow in the middle is to take out the balk left between the front gangs. Many disks came from the factory with them.

Wow....I would not have figured that it was a case disk. The guy who left it on this place was an allis fan as everything he had was allis. The DC was my grandfathers and I pulled it out of weeds too and got running. Cool Beans...........any body got a manual on this model?

On leaving a furrow on both sides. Later model disks had an extra disk attached to the end of each rear gang and the extra disk was a few inches smaller. JD called it a "furrow filler attachment"

Another option might be to pull a spike tooth harrow behind to smooth out the small cut left by the disc blade on the end of the gang.

i realize what its for ,but isnt the sweep on backwards?that is what caused me to think someone was using it as a marker.

Adjusted correctly, the rear gangs should only toss enough to leave it Level from one side, over the center, to the other side..
Usually a Harrow was pulled behind on the finishing pass, to leave the field nice and even..

I agree Jack that the shank & sweep appear to be on in backwards.

Check any castings, for a casting # if the number begins with AM, its AC. I was close to saying it is an AC, but Case paint and AC age to a similar color. Also, On all my AC stuff, they were partial to a 4 bolt wheel, and the pictures I have of AC discs, show a straight outer side frame wall, above the gangs.
