Dad picked up a really old but nice condition gehl blower, but it's missing the drive shaft. It's got a 1 3/8 6 spline shaft on it. I was wondering if anyone had an extra yoke laying around w/ the shear bolts on it, like whats on a newer gehl 1540 at the tractor end.
Gehl part number 112775 if that helps. He's gonna have the guy look a little bit to see if he can find it, but I'm looking for a backup plan. We've got some extra PTO shafts laying around off of former blowers we had, so if we could get just the shear end of the yoke I'd be able to put it on one of the shafts we already have.
Dad thought the shaft from our old Fox blower would work, but it's got a larger 6 spline shaft on it than the Gehl one, so it won't.
I'm sure I could buy a new one, but I don't really want to spend new price for the shear hub on a $40 blower.
