I"ve got a Woods Brothers corn picker in the line out back and I"m just wondering if this is anything that might be used or am I safe to scrap it?

I"m not talking making a killing, just scrap price, but I"m not going to nuts around advertising it, if it"s a dead horse that ought to be buried.

It"s rusted, and it"s set for a quite a while but I have no doubt that even I could make it run again if I put a little effort into it.

Any thoughts before I convert it to cash?

Thanx,

Ron

Hi Ron, Like some of the others, I really wish you were closer. I have looked for a Woods Brother picker here in IL but haven't had much luck finding one. At least advertise it for a while and give someone a chance to buy it. Just my .02 worth. Dale

Ron, Someone out there could use the parts I'm sure. Is yours a red or gray one? Maybe if you contacted a tractor club or collector in your area they might know someone who would want it.

Ron, there will be interest in your picker. You can advertise it here or go to the Corn Picker Forum and you likely will get all kinds of responses there. Mike

There might be somebody looking for just that very item, so place a FREE ad here on YT, and also a FREE ad on Craigslist. Price it about $300 or less, let the ads run for maybe a week or two, and if there is no interest, call the scrap buyer.
