I have come upon a threshing machine with wooden sides that has been stored inside for the last few decades and may be in working order. Any ideas on age/price and saleability? Thanks.

Friend of mine in our threshing club went to Dakota a decade ago, figured the wooden thresher would bring a grand. No one interested, he started at $100, took it home for that price.

How long is a piece of string? Depends on the string. What brand machine? What size? What condition? and are you buying for yourself, or looking to get for a little and peddle it off for profit? The is some demand, but nobody is putting their kids through college selling threshing machines they find. A thresher is a lot more work and trouble than your average "let's paint a tractor up purty" hobbiest will go for. And it will get you dirty.
