5 ft Heavy Duty Bush hog 305

My friend has a 305 5 ft Heavy Duty Bush hog, the machine has the gear box positioned up above the deck of the bushhog.

We are concerned how to lube the lower pillow block bearing.

It appears the shaft from gearbox goes through a bearing mounted on the deck.

Does anyone know if there is a grease zerk for this bearing?
Thanks,

old bush hog looks like the one in this picture.

Gearlube contained in the gearbox lubricates all 4 bearings contained within it, including the one you are asking about.

If that Bush Hog has set outside then drain the gear oil out and refill it. They get water in them and it goes to that bottom bearing you where asking about.

I have a 205, like the one in the picture. When the lower seal started leaking oil out, I drilled in a grease zerk, about halfway up. Now I grease it once in the spring, about 7 pumps, then check the oil. No problems after 5 or more years, and no leak, either.
