750 drill hitches

Wasn't there a company out there that made aftermarket semi integral 2pt hitches for the 750 drill? I bought second 750 drill with the dolley wheels and all they do is sink in the mud. My other drill I ordered new with the regular draw bar hitch, because it was cheaper, and it works ten times better in less than ideal fields. I did a search but couldn't come up with anything. Thanks in advance!

There where three hitches available for John Deere 750 drills. 1) Straight draw bar 2) Dolly wheel 3) Two point that used the lift arms only ,no top link.
I have not seen any after market hitches for them. The two point hitch is easy to make. All you do is drop the dolly wheel assembly out of the pivot and make a square tube cross hitch with a pin out the top the size of the dolly pivot pin. Look on jdparts page and you can fabricate one.

I picked up a conversion kit for mine from Maurer Mfg. in Spncer,Ia. last year but have not installed it yet as I bought new Kinze 3500 planter for beans but still pdrill wheat and oats with 750.

I made a 2-point hitch for my 750 drill a few years ago that lets me keep the dolly wheels. It makes hitching much easier and if I get into some soft conditions it's a small matter to transfer some weight to the tractor or even pick up the wheels. I wouldn't go back. Mike
