2 furrow mouldboard plough

hi i have been looking around for a plough and was wondering what the going rate for a complete ferguson 2 furrow mouldboard plough was.

I just help my friend buy a set of 2-14" Ferguson plows.

A plow in good condition is much harder to find than we thought.

Dealers said many old plows and other good used equipment was taken to the scrap yard when scrap metal was so high. Also, people are putting out small gardens/truck patches and hunters are buying the old plows to break up food plots.

Reasons small plows in good condition are hard to fine.

He paid $200 for a old plow that had a broken (but rewelded wing) no trail wheel and no coulters. Other plows in better condition ranged from $325-450.

My two cents: a plow is like a cycle mower, if its not in good shape it will not work properly.
You can drag almost any kind of old disc, but a plow must be in good shape to work properly.

Just our experience buying a a small plow in western ky last week.

Note: (His old plow did not work very well, tried to get him to buy one that cost more, but was in better shape.
