Im looking to replace my massey 1560 roll baler. I would like a little newer model with a monitor and auto tie but also dont want to spend more than 4 grand. Anybody have any particular brands or models they recommend. Not color blind either. Thanks

Gehl 1475, Hesston 545 or 845. All good balers, you can probably find a deal in some of the heavy hay producing drouth areas. Lot of low acre/bale farmer owned machines in Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota come up for sale in the winter.

In this market you've got to add about 3000 more to get what you are looking for in decent shape unless you try to rebuild a burnout.

Are you talking about a fixed chamber roll baler?
I just got rid of mine, never had much trouble with it but i hated the the way the bales squated after they set for a couple days, and they also soaked up alot of rain.

Maybe a 430 JD may be in that price range in your area, were as far as I know pretty much the same 435's and they were great balers.
