Case Corn Snapper

My wife has a 17 year old cousin who helps me a lot on the farm and he has an old Case corn snapper that he needs some parts for. The serial/model number tag is long gone but it is a one row with F&H round spoke wheels and what castings are on it (not many) have the old Case logo with the eagle on top of the globe. Does anyone know some tricks to identify the model number and/or find parts?

I have one of these similar to what you describe sitting in a fence row. Can"t remember what model but I can take a look. Where are you located and what parts are you looking for?

He needs the gears and shaft for the gearbox under the inside gathering chain. I'm in NC. The machine has been patched a lot and is definitely not pretty, but does a good job picking corn. It must be the model P because it does not have a husking bed.

I checked today and the one I have is a P. I'm sure I could have those parts for you, either from it or another parts machine. Imagine the shipping to NC would be quite high.
