Looking to convert a 3 pt field mower (bush hog type) to pull type for wd45 w/o 3pt. Any suggestions, tips, pix, etc

Your best bet would be to find a pull type You would have to put two wheels and a tung on the one you have.

JMHO, if you're set on making that mower work with your WD-45 you would probably have less work making or finding a 3 point hitch conversion for your tractor! That would also give you the option of using other 3 point implements!

What doesn't your WD have the lift system on it?? If it does it is easy to turn it into a 3 point. That said I have built set ups to use a 3 point brush hog on a tractor with out any type of lift. Did that years ago on a 1935 JD-B and just made bolt on arms that in turn had 2 arms on them with chains to hold the front of the hog up and worked well. Each chain had a turn buckle in it so as to be able to raise and lower the arm for hook up and adjustment
