Does any one know where I can get a 22" spoke wheel for a John Deere model H manure spreader? The wheel takes a 7.50-22 tire. The tires are also hard to find. I have heard that they are not manufactured any longer.

Jim;
My spreader is in very good shape except for the one wheel that is rusted beyond repair. That is why I am in the need of a wheel.
If yours has 22" wheels then I will take it.
I am located here in the Seattle Washington area. If you have what I need I will either have to go to Michigan or have it shipped. Please get back to me with the wheel and tire size.
Thanks, KARL

Nope, all 20's that's why I was wonderin! Just as a matter of interest, I've got an "L" on 20 inch wheels BUT 1 wheel is a drop center rim and the other is a "split rim" with the removable ring! If I remember correctly, they used to offer the option of using old truck tires and thats probably why they made the split rims available!? I do have an "H" out in the woods with a pair of 20 inch wheels, but they may be rusted beyond salvage, not sure!

This may be a dumb question, and if it is I apologize! Are you SURE it's not a 20 inch wheel? I believe that most H's had 20 inch wheels! More dumb questions; did you measure the wheel? Where did you measure on the wheel? Were you able to read the numbers on the tire? HTH

Dave

Dave, to answer your questions. Not only did I take the information off of the tire. But I also measured the wheel where the bead of the tire fits on the wheel.
John Deere manufactured both 20" and 22" wheels.
I believe that the 22" wheels were used in the early 40"s.
My question to you is, Have you seen any John Deere spreader model H 22"spoke wheels in your area of the country?
