3 16's, still have most of the original paint, the adjustment crank has been broke and welded back(makes it real hard to adjust), and there has been some welding where the top link attaches on the plows. Points and moldboards are in excellent shape. Any idea what these are worth? Are parts still available?? Thanks,

Casey

wear parts are available from a number of sources. (inc MF/AGCO) Short landslides (front) are no longer available. You need to buy longer rears and cut them down. Shares are about $15. Shins $12 to $14. Moldboards $110+. Coverboards (if used) are $50 Landslides are $55+. Frame/landing crank parts are hit or miss for availability. Coulters are hard to come by (new) Tailwheel assembly is over $250 new (complete) That plow in average to poor condition is worth $200 (+ or -) In excellent condition, $500 to $1000 depending on who's selling and who's buying. I know of a VERY nice 2X14" #43 that's for sale near here for $400

Also, I might add, most of the landing crank parts are common to the #66 truss frame plow (far more common. used parts/donor plow should be relatively easy to find) The #43 was a later model plow than the #66. It offers much better trash clearance. A really good light draft mounted plow.

I appreciate the info. Any idea where I might find some used parts online?? Not a whole lot of Massey equipment around here, and especially plows. Most plows around here are Fords, and maybe a few Deere's.

I rebuilt an MF #66 plow a while back. (Same parts except for frame) I got MOST of the parts through Valu-Bilt. Some through Agri Supply, and the coverboards and landslides through AGCO/MF dealer. I bought everything right about this time of the year. Everyone was in the midst of inventory season and had let stocks dwindle down to nothing. No one EXCEPT AGCO had the landslides at that time. I"d suspect you can get them through Valu-Bilt any other time of the year. Frame and landing crank parts are most likely only available through MF dealer or used market.
