Corn Binder Symbol Identification

I have a corn binder that has this symbol and the says deering. Can any one tell me what this symbol is? It is ground driven. I did not post pictures of the whole unit, because it is torn apart and scattered in the grove.

That is the symbol for the International Harvester Company, a merger of several companies including McCormick, Deering, Plano Harvester, and P&O plows to name just a few.

this appears to be one of the beter ihc symbols i'e seen. so many times people think its an i and an h inside of a circle. most of the time they just don't look close enough to notice that its a "c"
