I"m in need of a 3pt post hole digger for my montana tractor. New ones range from $500 - $1000+. Where"s a good place to look for used implements, washington state (kitsap or other).
Are there "farm equipment" classifieds out there that I haven"t found yet or used equipment dealers or ???
Thanks, Mike.
Olall, Wa.

I like to go to fastline.com. There you can look and new and used farm machinery and trucks. On there web page you can get a free mag. for your home state.

Is there a craigslist.org webpage for a city near you? There is a "Farm & Garden" section in the For Sale ads on craigslist.

For a single small job- just rent a skidloader with the phd. You'll pay over 400 bucks for a used one for 3ph, new is about double that.

i dont know any specific places but every state in the union has equiptment auctions...thats where i get all of my seldom used implements...if youre planning on going into fence building biz...buy new and heavy duty like a Rhino or similar quality.

You may want to rent one for a day or more and then be done with it. I would also like a 3 point post hole digger, but the price makes it hard to buy one. I only need to dig a dozen or so holes and then I would be done, I have a neighbor that has one, I may ask him--but I never see him outside, old guy.
