I HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO PICK ONE OF THESE UP FOR UNDER $1000.

CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THEY ARE A DECENT MOWER. HAS ANYONE HAD ANY EXPERIENCE WITH ONE OF THESE? I HAVE APPROX. 4 ACRES OF GRASS TO CUT A COUPLE OF TIMES A MONTH AND AM THINKING THIS WOULD WORK PULLED BEHIND MY FORD 8N. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

i love my '51 8n but its got a plate full with a 5' rotary.
as long as you dont let grass get ahead of you it'll prob do ok but make sure you got weight up front to counterweight mower.

We have the 7" version of this mower and pull it behind an Oliver S-55. My only issue is the single belt drive, when we get into heavy hay the belt can slip, and we have destroyed one belt. Other than that good sturdy machine and parts are readily available from Woods or John Deere.
