Friend has a model M Gleaner with diesel engine. Has always been shedded and hasn't been used for 30 years. Has a cab. What kind of value do you put on this machine...E SD.

I own a model M but with the gas engine. It depends if it has any M2 updates and condition but around here they only bring a few thousand with out heads. They are good machines but will not clean the grain as good as the older cases. I wish my M was a diesel as the 75 gallon fuel tank runs out quick with the gas engine.

Being a case guy myself I hate to admit I like running my 1976 M gleaner. They came out with the M2 in 1977.They are a very simple machine. I know you have a whole fleet of case combines but hate to see a good machine go by the way side. Hope someone gets to use it. Email me and I can tell you more about the M machine

Expect to replace all the belts, most of the hoses and some of the seals and perhaps the tires...if you can get it running OK......it might be less trouble as a parts machine, unfortunately....

We use a M2 for beans and a F2 for corn both Diesel. Got the F2 from the salvage yard. They paid $225 a ton. They deducted for the tires. We paid $2500. Included a 4 to 30 corn head. Black in great shape. New batteries and drove it home. Forgot it has a mechanical 4x4.
