And you don't hardly see them anymore, appears there is no interest. Doesn't matter I'm still having fun!

Nice looking Case machines! I wish I could post pictures. I just finished combining oats with my John Deere model 42 pull type combine. All went well. thanks for posting. kelly

My Uncle had a K2 Case pull type combine years ago. It had a case 4 cylinder engine running it. also had a spike tooth cylinder. It seemed to work great back in the day. DWF

Just curious to see if the deal was closed or not on the 460?

I have been a periodic reader of this forum for a good while but never a participant until now. I still pull a working Massey 751 around the field. Took out 30 acres of rye this summer, and more work for it yet this fall in 40 acres of contracted buckwheat.

Ande,
That is unfortunate, and my regret as it appeared that the old case combine might have had a fair chance of someone attempting to bring it back to life. Maybe just wishful thinking urged on by this site. However, I must admit that I wouldn t mind examining one up close maybe even seeing one actually working such as the 400 that casecollector appears to still operate. Even though we have owned our share of case tractors as evidenced by the 1370 on my pull type harvest setup, I have actually never seen a pull type case combine. John Deere pretty much owned the pull type market in our area during that era of combines. My dad had both a JD 65 for small grain, and a JD 42 with a two row head for corn. Both did their share of custom acres well above and beyond our own throughout the years. Ultimately they went by the wayside when a JD 95 self-propelled came along during the late 70s, and then a further IH 1420 in the early 80s when we first began raising soybeans. That machine is in the photo. It is not a great shot, but the best I had at the moment. The MF 751 I have now was a purchase going back now several years, and it has been a good and capable machine to keep in action.
