I am still trying to get my 4400 running and was able to take the cap off of the injector pump and found that the metering valves were stuck. I filled it with ATF and let it sit for around a month prior to getting the metering valve to move freely. I still cant get it to pump but was wanting to get some information about the combine. The serial # is JH12199 and the model # is AH96267. Is there a way to look these numbers up to find out what year this machine was made?

According to my book it is a 74 model
I was looking in the wrong place for the serial numbers. I had been told by 2 different parts people at a John Deere dealership
where to look. Neither of them were right. Those numbers are the cab manufacturer numbers. I found the machines numbers on the
drivers side by the back tires. After contacting the local dealership I found that it was a 78 model. Thank you for looking that up
for me. I appreciate it.
