That kussmaul sale was expensive.

K2 brought 22k. It was a plot combine, so it had a lot more doodads than a plain K2

And a 6620 side hill brought 35k. It was represented as having $30k in new parts over the past year.

Wow. I was tot he Floyd IA sale a few years ago, a plot K2 with hydro brought about 5k there. I didnt look it over it might have been well worn or not totally plot any
more, but looks like a deal now!

They went for a lot.

22,000 on the 4430. Bad paint job and a lot of smoke your of the breather.

36,000 for the 4640. Almost as much smoke as the 4430, but a little better paint.

I have heard the term Plot or Test Plot Combine a few times, but what exactly are the extra features on these machines? Yield measuring equipment? it's my understanding they were used on university and commercial research farms developing different seeds. Can someone chime in on what these combines did? I came across an old Gleaner A open station that was used on a research form on the Eastern shore of VA/MD once.

If you scroll on down toward the bottom of the page, there'a a post by Oldcrow51 about a K2 plot combine. There are pictures and
explanations.

Not a plot combine but a running K with a 6 cylinder gas that I thought about buying for the tires. Came with 3 heads

Hart Carter head
10'W
Serial 3072
Allis Chalmers 240K head
6'5W
Serial 5620170254
Allis Chalmers A-330 head
7'5W

$1017.00

With the 6.5 and 7.5 heads it might have been a plot combine.
