I drained the hydraulic fluid in the TR75 a couple days ago and pulled the tank screen out and you can see from the picture the reason it was sucking the hose in, question is, how do i get this sludge out of the tank?? The opening for the screen is not very big, it still has some of this junk in the tank.

That is what i will use, problem is the hole where the screen goes is only around 2 in diameter, not sure if i can get the hose on the wet dry vac in there to pump it out, might have to use a hand pump. The wet dry vac is old and if the fuel and sludge does something to it no worries.

i didn't see one plus this stuff is thick and probably wouldn't drain very well, i'll try the diesel fuel and hope that will get it out.

I think that you will find that wax is an oil problem. I have had similar issues on fine meshed suction screens and filters with all sorts of currently produced oils, including those from big green and big red. I almost seems like a wax that comes out of suspension and plugs the screens.
