Should I put in my tires to transport on the highway about 30 miles ? Right now with the header off it bounces around like crazy I think the tires Are at 15 psi

The bouncing effect is kinda like a speed wobble....the tires natural resonance meets that of the combine at certain speeds and cause increased bouncing. Reducing....or increasing the speed may get you out of that phased resonance, as would changing the air pressure and or weight on the combine. Sometimes you just have to play with it to find the sweet spot....Sometimes different pressures in the left and right tire will decrease the resonance.

It's a bit un-nerving when they start bouncing, but I was told run full speed and it will quit. Out in the open country where you're at you should be ok but where I drove one was narrow 2 lane road and I did not have the nerve to go full speed, so I took it easy. Mark.

Ive been tempted to leave the header on but theres 3 narrow windy spots and its just to risky I think . It drives perfect with the header on
