White Kwik Cut flex head

Working on getting a new to me early style kwik cut flex head set up on my 7300. Having some trouble getting the automatic header height to work right. My Oliver manual only covers the setup for a ridged head with header height control. The flex head has more adjustment points since in the linkage and I think theres to much slop in everything but I dont want to start taking up slack until I know what Im affecting. Is there a separate manual for the kwik cut flex heads or do I need to find a manual for a later model White 7300 combine?

just looked at two different manuals both the same . do you have have the white 7300 manual. Got mine to work once on the 7600 alot of adjusting to get to work . Now just have a gauge mounted to feeder house and shows on the windshield has worked good for me. Good luck setting it up

Have 2 Kwik-Cut Service Bulletins dated 4/30/1977 and 3/9/1979. Basically only 3 adjustments: suspension springs(1/4 off limit chain), height control rods(22.9 long and equal) and that should not change, control cable (9 from control arm to locknuts).

Thanks. After I got to looking I found all the info in the book for my 8700. Had to do more digging to find out when they came out with the Kwik cut heads on the 7300 they went to much heavier counterbalance springs and frames to make the auto header height work correctly with the heavier heads. So I have to find the heavier springs and frames.
