I've posted this message on the Allis Chalmers board and the reply looks like a different approach than the pictures on the allcropharvestor site -
I bought a concave from Tom Yaz a few years ago and now my AC 72 All Crop needs it. There is not a lot of information on the allcropharvester.com site about how to do the job. Figuring out what to take apart and how to do it looks like the worst part. Has anyone done it ? Any advice ?
Thanks
Greg

I changed a concave on a 66 last summer. Took the feed apron completely off. Cylinder bars all removed. The hardest part was the remove the rivets that it is fastened with. Ground off the heads and punched out with an air chisel with a punch in it. Took me about a week to complete.

Been a lot of years since I did that on a 60.Cralw inside on top of sraw rack and remove cylinder bars then you can get to concave but you need a helper underneeth for bottom of bolts. Actually never changed the stell part of concave just the rubber part. I was 40 years younger and80 pounds liter then. Never had a header off. Had 3 different 60 machines.
