Oliver 40 with corn head

I saw this on Tractor House, it has to be the only 40 with a corn head anywhere.

I wonder if that's one of those heads that cut the whole plant and ran it through. Oliver did that in the early days. Kinda looks like a forage harvester head.
 
Yes, it does cut the whole plant and run it through, the head works very similar to the old Gehl chopper heads.
 
Oooooh! Now that's a gem! Wonder if that aquarium cab is home made or stock. I see the have two 40's there at the auction, I'd be all about it if I didn't already have my irons in the fire of another auction. The only thing that would chase me away from that auction is another Gehl 188 chopper.

Ran a 40 for a farmer near Glenham So Dak mid 1960s pulled a chaff cart made piles which we winter beef cows on whole plant went through combine
