What parts are NLA on 1440 IHs?

Hey all,

We know a guy that might be scrapping a 1440, and was curious what all is NLA on them that would be good to get off before its crushed?

Not a big Ih fan, but I like them alot more than I like the scrap industry and want to help.

Parts that I have paid for on 1460's and newer; Head and machine drive 90 degree gearbox,Engine drive gearbox , rotor drive belt tightener , Concaves and rear grates if not bent , Lower grain auger and elevator boot, Bin unloading gearbox only if it has newer enclosed gears,Rear axle center section , rear swing down step.

If it is going for scrap price and you want to part it out just buy the whole machine. Parts might be slow to sell, but sure most might move up to the 16 series in same numbers. Craigslist or ebay would be you friend, simple stuff like the engine fan or a steel hydraulic line could move quick for more then you think. Finals, various shafts, sieves, all worth good money used. Time, patience and reasonable pricing you could make out well.

What parts are NLA on 1440 IHs?
