I have a 6600 that keeps plugging up atThe cylinder. I had 100 acres of beans to run the last 10 acres I sucked In a slug of dirt. Machine worked fine cut down to the last 1 acre and it?s got plugged and bent the sprocket that runs the Straw walkers and bent the bracket the sprocket was on slip clutch act like it wasn?t working right. Fix the sprocket took the cover off the top of the feeder house by the cylinder unplug that. And then started back up again didn?t get 100 feet it was plugged already at the cylinder. And this time he broke the spring tensioner on the beater bar belt climbed inside the beater bar was plugged this time and the cylinder. Got all new parts and belts fixed it went back out that one pass in plugged up at the cylinder again. I don?t know if there?s something wrong with the cylinder or something wrong with the con caves. I am just wondering if anybody else has experienced these problems.
I?m running an 18 foot head I have ran it with the con caves open more cylinder speed faster and as slow as the machine will go with only half the head and the beans and still get the same results.
I would really like to get those last half acre of beans out before I have to plant again LOL
