Well. I really did it this time. Found a late in 715 diesel hydro and 4 row 30 inch corn head at a auction last Saturday. As is was supposed to run but wasnt at the sale. It has the 310 german diesel. Spent all day Sunday on it. Removing coon scat. The shutdown solenoid on the dumb Bosch injection pump was stuck. Removed the pump fixed reinstalled. Then the starter went bad. Last night I got a starter and topped off the fluids. It fired right up. Sounds good. But within just a minute or 2. The radiator was leaking in several places after shutting it down I re checked the oil. It was suddenly way over full. I oulled the drain plug and antifreeze came out befor turning to something like oil. Refired again pressure in radiator. Unscrewed the cap and it looked like old faithfully. So I'm guessing there's combustion leaking into the coolant system. Any ideas? Head gasket? Worse?

More than likely you've got a sleeve with a hole in it from electrolysis.....My 715 with the D-310 did it when it was 20 years old....Time for new sleeves and pistons..
