This problem just began occurring last week on my John Deere 6620. After you engage the separator lever randomly the lever will pop back disengaging the separator. Push the lever back forward again and in several minutes it might want to pop backward again. I see in the book how to adjust the "over center" adjusting bolt, but the little arm that goes over center isn't even touching the adjusting bolt. Can't really figure out what is wrong. Is the turnbuckle that tightens the separator belt idler to tight?? Any one had this problem before?
