Used to be a seed corn by the name of "Fielder's Choice" Mail order type of stuff. Good friend and neighbor bought it. All he could talk about all year was how cheap his seed bill was. I harvested his corn and mine. His yield was 30 BPA lower on the same or even better ground. HE went back to more normal seed the next year and out yielded my corn.

So I would just keep on reading by these type of ads.

Had a neighbor that planted Fielder's Choice corn a few years ago. he was also touting how cheap the price was, till he started figuring in the shipping, it came out close to what I was paying at the time for name branded seed and early pay discounts. He seemed to think it did ok for him though. Noticed he quit using it after about two years too. Maybe this outfit is a reincarnation of that company as I haven't seen Fielder's Choice in quite awhile. Did a brief search of them and came up with place in Iowa I think it was, seemed like they handled seed from a lot of different companies, didn't have anything with their name on it.
